Why Choose our church?
All of humanity seeks to realize the reality of something that is greater than them, that could possibly be active in the different aspects of their lives. Thus, spirituality can be defined as an individual’s search for transcendent meaning which reveals itself in the manifestation of a higher power as revealed in God through the Christian revelation. This kind of power reaches beyond normative religious affiliations and guidelines which often function as limitations. Even as Christians, many of us have found our worship experiences lacking or missing something. For us, worship of God should be viewed as a cosmological exercise. In other words, we worship God in all that we do, in everything as long as Christ is the center of these things, such a theological outlook as wholeness and fullness to every aspect of our lives.
These days, young adults ages eighteen through thirty, are leaving the church at an alarming rate. It appears that when young adults make decisions about whether or not to stay with a church, they frequently choose the latter. The question begs to be asked: “why?” For years, the church has been a hub of not only religious but also social activity. What compels forty to sixty percent of young adult Christians to abandon the church or even the religion they, their parents, and grandparents were raised on? This ministry will make worship exciting, reflective, meditative, interactive, provoking, and intellectually stimulating. We will tackle the controversial biblical text and unlock biblical truths that traditional ministry constructs hide. In short, we will not adopt the “it’s just that way” approach to understanding the word of God. Further, we will promote a lifestyle of worship that can be readily seen in every aspect of our lives, not just on Sunday during worship. It is our intent to add value to our members every lives, which will improve marriages, relationships, vocational pursuits, and the economic health of our members.
